Sansevieria is a kind of flowering plant with unique characters. There are many species and variants with unique leaves. The following Sansevieria are the most hunted variants by the hobbyist and plant collectors :
  1. Sansevieria blue kew.
    It's flat leaf species and the leaves grow rosettely. A perfect leaf needs time to grow for about 3 to 4 months. Blue kew belong to Sansevieria cylindrica species.



  2. Sansevieria tanzania blue.
    It's similar to Sansevieria silver blue but with smaller and thinner leaves. Both of them originally came from Tanzania and belong to Sansevieria kirkii species.



  3. Sansevieria suffruticosa var suffruticosa.
    This species is best selling in the Sansevieria market. It's often championing the Sansevieria contest. Suffuticosa is part of Sansevieria cylindrica. It's also similar to Sansevieria mutomo.The Mutomo's leaves grow on its armpit while Suffruticosa's leaves grow on its tuber.


  4. Sansevieria beauty queen.
    It's still rare in the market because of its beautiful appearance and its expensive price. The beauty queen with on2 leaves could be sold at US $1,000. It's belong to Sansevieria trifasciata soft leaves.


  5. Sansevieria american futura.
    This species is the most common species suffering from color mutation. It's belong to the same group as The Beauty queen (Sansevieria trifasciata soft leaves).

  6. Sansevieria green kirkii.
    The name of green kirkii is not permanent name for this species yet. At a glance this species looks like Sansevieria conspicua, but in fact this species can be categorized as non-trifasciata and kirkii.


  7. Sansevieria crested hahnii
    Probably, this is the most expensive hahnii in the market. The Crested hahnii with only 7 leaves and 5 cm long can be sold at US $250. It's also a little bit hard to nurse because it's need particular care. This species belong to Sansevieria trifasciata.
